Built in 1690 by the Marquis Giorgio Clerici, the Villa got its name from “Carlotta” , prussian Princess , who received it as a dowry in1848 at her marriage with the Duke of Saxen Meiningen .

In November from 9.00-11.30 amd 14.00-16.30 .
Car ferry services go to Cadenabbia every 30 minutes . Boats arrive and depart directly in face of the entrance of Villa Carlotta only i the summer period. There is also an all year boat service to Tremezzo, turn right and walk for 10 minutes.
